My name is Zia, and I have the honor to be a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a student, and a life-long learner of the mystery of what it means to be a human being on this planet. I’m also a licensed psychologist with a passion for helping others break through barriers to create the authentic life they desire, in which they can truly experience the love, joy and freedom that is our birthright. About

I work with individuals choosing to address trauma, depression, anxiety, relational and other interactional concerns that limit life and negatively impact its quality. We explore those concerns from different perspectives to understand them on a deeper level. Growth and change require a willingness to get curious about long held unconscious beliefs and somatic patterns. Healing is an invitation. I use two primary methods, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Ketamine-assisted Therapy (KAP). During our initial sessions we will identify your goals for therapy, and determine whether either is a good option for you. Both of these therapies require time to establish safety and comfort in the therapeutic relationship, and some ability and willingness to tolerate uncomfortable emotions. Often this means we spend a bit of time on that first!
