Welcome

I offer a nonjudgmental, collaborative approach to therapy and believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to simply guide and empower you to fully embrace the person you already are inside. My number one job is to cultivate a relationship between my client and me that allows for healthy transformation in the room. I help you connect to all parts of yourself and build skills that you can use every day for the rest of your life. I come from a culturally-sensitive perspective and believe our inherent differences as individuals are what make us unique, strong, and beautiful. My core approach to psychedelic work is from an IFS (Internal Family Systems) lens. This includes trusting your inner wisdom (Self) as the healing agent for the parts of yourself that have become burdened through the course of your life experiences. As you (the expert of your own being) come into greater connection and relationship with these parts of yourself you organically find greater compassion and understanding for why you feel, react, and repeat difficult patterns.

Stephanie Hansen, LMFT specializes in working with Millennial women struggling with disordered eating, addictions, anxiety and difficult relationships. She has been working in private practice since 2018 and sees clients in person in San Diego and throughout California via Telehealth. She offers individual and couples sessions, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in individual and group settings, as well as EMDR. She utilizes a variety of modalities based on each client’s specific needs and style, including behavioral therapies, depth psychology, parts work, and mindfulness. Focusing on the mind-body connection, she often incorporates breathwork, meditation, and somatic work into sessions.
