If you've reached a point where talk therapy helps but something still feels stuck — emotions you can't access, patterns you understand but can't shift, a shutdown you can't break through — KAP may be worth exploring. I offer two distinct protocols: KA-EMDR, which combines low-dose ketamine with active EMDR trauma processing while you remain alert and engaged, and traditional KAP at higher doses for treatment-resistant depression, chronic shame, emotional numbness, and rigid defenses that won't budge through conventional therapy alone. This isn't a shortcut. It's slow, grounded, relational work — integrated with trauma therapy and paced to your nervous system. The medicine creates a temporary opening; the therapeutic relationship is what makes that opening safe enough to use. I work with adults navigating complex trauma, PTSD, identity-related distress, and emotional shutdown — especially men and LGBTQ+ individuals seeking depth-oriented care. Capitol Hill, Seattle, and telehealth across Washington State.
I see clients in person at my Capitol Hill office and via telehealth across Washington State, Monday through Thursday. KAP sessions are available daytime hours during weekdays and on Saturdays by arrangement. I start with a free 20-minute consultation to assess fit before scheduling. In-network with Premera, LifeWise, and most BCBS plans. KAP sessions are private pay, $175–$500 depending on protocol.
