About
Daughter of Chinese refugees and a settler on unceded Huchiun territory of the Lisjan Ohlone people also known as Oakland, California. From the age of 9, I lived with White bodied foster parents in a multicultural home. I love working with clients who are also navigating challenges with belonging and the complexities of the immigrant experience. I grew up with severe complex childhood trauma and learned from a young age to disconnect from my body in order to survive. As a mental health coach, I am passionate about helping people safely come back into their bodies and feel more capable of navigating their worlds. I specialize in trauma-related challenges, supporting clients who experience symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and complex developmental trauma. I am a queer woman of color, former foster youth, cis gendered and able-bodied. My practice is focused on serving women, femmes, 2SLGBTQIA+, gender expansive/agender/non-conforming, neurodivergent and BIPOC individuals. I study and practice somatic abolitionism, continuously acknowledging and working through my own implicit biases, privileges, and limitations and hold this as essential to the work I do with clients. I am warm, open-minded, collaborative and research-informed. As a coach, I'm not restricted by location and can see out of state clients virtually.
