Clinical Social Work Therapist
Hi, I'm Christie and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, yoga teacher, and mindfulness meditation instructor. I work with people who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected and are looking for a way back to themselves. I believe healing happens when we approach ourselves with curiosity instead of criticism. When we start asking “why does this pattern keep showing up?” or “what am I really needing right now?” instead of judging ourselves, that’s when real change begins. I combine my clinical training with my deep interest in the mind-body connection and nervous system science. Since earning my MSW, I’ve completed multiple post-graduate training programs to further develop my skills, including specialized training in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), psychedelic-assisted therapy, and polyvagal theory. I’ve also trained extensively in yoga (500+ hours) and mindfulness meditation (200+ hours) because I’ve seen how powerful these practices are when integrated with therapy.
I see clients both in person and online. My office offers a quiet, comfortable space where you can slow down and connect with yourself. I also meet with clients virtually for those who prefer the ease and flexibility of online sessions. I currently have openings and offer early morning, lunchtime, and evening appointments to make therapy easier to fit into your day.
My approach blends evidence-based therapies with mindfulness and somatic practices to help clients build awareness, resilience, and self-compassion. I draw from numerous theories including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative theory, and attachment theory to explore thoughts and behaviors, while integrating somatic techniques and mindfulness to reconnect with the body and regulate the nervous system. I also incorporate Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) when appropriate, offering a guided, compassionate space for deep reflection and growth. Throughout our work, I focus on your strengths, helping you cultivate curiosity, self-compassion, and lasting change.
$150
My standard rate is $150 per session. I also offer a sliding scale in the hope of making therapy more accessible. If you’d like to learn more about this option, please reach out to me directly. I am an out of network provider with all insurance companies. This means payment is made at the time of each session, and I can provide an invoice (often called a “superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Many plans offer partial or full reimbursement for out of network services, so it’s always worth checking with your provider to see what’s available to you. I believe therapy should be something anyone can access, not something that requires a diagnosis or label. Insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis and may set limits on the number or length of sessions. By working independently, I’m able to keep our sessions focused on what matters most: you, your goals, and your growth.
